Rubber floor mats have become commonplace not just in industrial plants but also in the household. This special kind of flooring mainly prevents slipping in homes and commercial areas. The first rubber type of floor mat was developed by the Germans in the early 20th century. Rubber is ideal as a floor mat given its durability and elasticity. It can take on tremendous amount of stress without permanent deformation.
